Artful Living
This October, London has already hosted PAD London and Frieze. This week, we return to the heart of Mayfair, Berkeley Square, for LAPADA, bringing together artists, collectors, artisans and connoisseurs.
Our designs go beyond the aesthetic, curating spaces that are thoughtfully crafted to embody our clients' personalities and passions, reflecting and enhancing the lifestyle they lead. With many having various passions of investment, such as fine wine and watches, classic cars and haute couture, many of them also have noteworthy art collections, and are used to housing pieces that have hung on the walls of the finest galleries in the world. Applying the same approach to these acquisitions, we advise on key pieces which are designed and crafted to the same standards as fine art, with each piece telling its own remarkable story.
Here, we highlight just a small selection of some of the pieces catching our eye so far, along with a curated Pinterest board to spark further inspiration.

With a design ethos that transcends a formulaic approach we look at each interior in a very bespoke and individual way for our clients.

As we race towards the end of the year, the recent Autumn Statement and the U.S. election result continue to dominate discussions. We are always tuned in to any global changes that impact the luxury sector and our home market and we have enjoyed speaking with colleagues across the luxury sphere to further discuss the wider impact. In this edition of OBS Musings, we’re taking a moment to share some lighter stories reaching our screens.

We often speak about our ethos of Thoughtful Luxury and how it underpins everything we do. In conversations with our clients, collaborators, and team, it’s clear that the meaning of luxury is evolving. No longer defined solely by materiality, luxury today is increasingly measured in time, space, and the ability to nurture our wellbeing. At the Walpole Luxury Summit earlier this year, it was Chris Sanderson, Founder & CEO, The Future Laboratory who gave an inspirational talk on the New Codes of Luxury: Longevity & Wellbeing Strategies Report. Sharing his findings from his report on how UHNWIs are shifting their beliefs and realising that we are our most valuable asset.
